The topics in the class include an introduction to Ayurveda, the layers of life, the five elements, an introduction to Doshas, an exploration of each of the three main Doshas and how they manifest when they’re in balance and out of balance, how to interpret the Dosha quiz, and using our attention to enliven our health.
Next to breathing, eating is one of our most vital bodily functions. We nourish ourselves by converting the energy and information of our environment into the biological intelligence of our body. To create and maintain a healthy physiology, our food needs to be nourishing, our digestive power strong, and our elimination efficient.
In this class we will explore: happiness, our core emotional needs, the nature of emotions, the seven biological responses, conscious communications and practices and tools for emotional clearing.
The topics covered in this class include an introduction to healing through the senses and an in-depth exploration of the healing power of sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch, and how to balance your Dosha. We will also explore the sense of humor-using laughter as me
In class five includes the rhythms of nature, the Dosha clock, and the characteristics of each dosh time period, creating an optimal daily routine, Doshas and the seasons, seasonal routines, detoxification, restful sleep, mindful movement, and pranayama.
